A Few Words About Us

There is an ever-increasing global need for building solutions that are eco-friendly and environmentally conscious. As such, buildings are being designed with environmentally responsible intentions that are self-sufficient and reduce their impact on their surroundings infrastructures. This includes not only the brick and mortar structures, but also their surrounding landscapes, namely parking bays, driveways and pedestrian walkways, to name a few. It is imperative that buildings are designed with the future of our planet in mind, and this includes considering solutions that satisfies the requirements of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems.

We at DURAGRID are extremely proud to be able to offer the ideal solution that assists in this global endeavour to help reduce any harmful impact on our planet and to pave a way to a more sustainable future.

More About Us

Not only are our plastic grid pavers produced locally, thereby reducing their manufacturing carbon footprint, but they are also manufactured from a variety of recycled materials, (reducing unnecessary waste that would otherwise overflow our landfills). The DURAGRID pavers are an economical, non-toxic plastic, permeable, inter-locking solution which offers a long-lasting solution that helps to reduce soil erosion and strengthen the ground’s load-bearing capabilities (especially in areas of intensive or frequent use). In addition, and of utmost importance, our tiles offer 100% permeability with an immediate drainage system that controls the run-off of rain water on our over loaded or non-existent storm water infrastructures.

The DURAGRID tiles are designed as an interlocking system of permeable open cell structures which offer a strong, durable base that is not only load-bearing, but also allows water to permeate into the ground reducing the concern of constant soil erosion, especially  in areas of frequent use. The inter-locking pavers can be either gravel filled, for more frequent intensive use or grass planted for occasional consecutive use, offering a versatile eco-friendly solution that satisfies the requirements of a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS).
